Mo was superb! This course taught me how to be intentional with business development. This program gave practical advice linked to “blindingly obvious” (once you think about it) theory. This course taught me how to interpret people’s business practices as functions of their brains and ways to appeal and understand people who think differently from me. As a college student given the opportunity to go through the training, I am so much more prepared and aware about the business world. I left this training with an open mind to the different quadrants and how they can be used to benefit my business. I learned better structured planning, better habits, and developed a better understanding of myself.

Mo mastered the game as a premier seller-expert for a number of years, and wrote down his system for success in this book: why wouldn’t you at least want to know what he used to succeed? His step by step instructions are backed by science, challenging (get a cup of coffee ready!!!) but fair, and (honestly) pretty exciting. They help you feel like you’re taming the beast that is the BD paradox (the fear that more work only makes you more busy), and they lay the groundwork for what will become your system for success. Anyone who picks up this book will have already used a system to master their craft – why not do the same for BD? I’ve been implementing Mo’s suggestions for only a few weeks now, and have already won a job, with promising meetings set for two other potential projects. All this to be said: it works!
Excellent course. Mo is always a very dynamic and enjoyable instructor! There was a significant shift in my thought process of how to approach sales and communications based on the tools and HBDI.
I’m usually very skeptical with training courses – this one was top shelf. And, I don’t give praise often…
I read lots of books and most of the business books offer a new insight based on research. From there, I’m left to consider what’s possible. This one doesn’t do that. Mo Bunnell gives you research and then tells you what to do next. He helps you build a system and provides worksheets to capture your tailored thinking. I’ve never met a perfect book and this one isn’t either. This book will not magically make you rich and automatically serve you a cappuccino. It does offer the reader guidelines and helpful hints to grow their professional services business. The book is worth far more than the price.

Sales is a massive and scary topic to try and tackle. But this course, and these materials, break it all down to teach you the art and science of sales so anyone can do it and enjoy the experience.

This book is great. It’s all about relationship-first, business development. (a.k.a. The way businesses growth *should* be). The book also hits on the massive importance of habits, which I think is awesome and I don’t know of any other business book that dives into habits, which is bonkers because I’d argue that good business habits are critical for helping drive growth and building momentum over the long run.
I found this session valuable because it taught/guided me not only in business development, but in ways to grow personally. It was a reinforcement of many actions and things I am doing, but also provided a new framework to look at everything with. Loved the personality assessment; it was very enlightening!

This book rocks – I have read dozens and dozens of sales books and this clearly is one of the best. Very practicable, user friendly, very relevant stories and with every chapter, actionable ideas to put into practice. You know it is a good book when every chapter has a bunch of higlights (Kindle :). Well done. My wife accuses of me of handing out my favorite books like candy, so I am ready to hand out this candy to friends, co-workers and clients (maybe a great give to get?)

There are so many tools I now plan to incorporate into my processes. We all know there are a lot of books that claim to teach people how to sell things – this is not one of those books.
