Mo Bunnell
Mo Bunnell is the Managing Partner and Chief Visionary of Bunnell Idea Group (BIG), which he founded in 2005. Mo’s vision is to change the way people experience sales and sales people. He is our resident authority on sales strategy, sales effectiveness, sales training, and coaching. His expertise in aligning sales training with sales governance has helped organizations turn their ordinary sales forces into competition-stomping Rainmaking teams.
Before founding Bunnell Idea Group, Mo applied his knowledge of sales and selling to help co-found and build The Clothing Warehouse into the largest vintage clothing franchise chain and vintage wholesale business in the country.
Mo honed his knowledge of sales strategy during his 13-year tenure with Hewitt Associates. As a licensed actuary, Mo started as a Health Care Consultant with Hewitt and quickly learned that his passion was in building relationships and helping clients solve their problems. After a few years on the consulting side, he shifted his focus towards selling and was soon named the Global Account Executive for two of the four largest Hewitt clients. He and his teams generated new business in the hundreds of millions of dollars in contract value through selling large, complex outsourcing projects and highly customized consulting arrangements.
Since forming BIG, Mo has personally trained and coached thousands of people to sell more, sell faster, and deepen their relationships. He is the primary author of the GrowBIG Sales Training Program. He has designed and tested dozens of techniques and tools that accelerate and streamline the selling process. He also personally coaches sales leaders and executives from Fortune 100 companies to help them build and manage teams of sales super stars.
Mo received a B.S. in Actuarial Science with a minor in Business Management from Ball State University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Mo lives in Atlanta with his wife Becky and two daughters, Gabby and Josie. Mo enjoys the outdoors and is frequently found backpacking the Cohutta wilderness in North Georgia with his family. To stay in shape and keep up his boundless energy, Mo plays competitive Ultimate Frisbee year-round and competes at the local, regional, and national levels.
